We’ve teamed up with Gatefoot Gallery to offer a range of digital Landscape Photography courses from beginner to advanced level. You will be tutored by one of their exhibiting professional photographers in the beautiful Lake District Landscape, or possibly further afield if required. The courses will include digital imaging, and processing through to producing your own physical print for framing in our gallery. You will be tutored through the whole process from composition to framing your print.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge of digital photography, these photography courses are designed to give you an enjoyable and informative experience. Courses can be devised around a small group of family or friends or you can apply as an individual. Groups of maximum 6 give a good balance of 1 to 1 assistance and group tuition. Courses are based predominantly in the South Lakes to keep travelling time to a minimum but we will from time to time offer longer courses which include areas further afield.
Most courses run from Sunday evening to Tuesday, finishing at about 4pm on Tuesday
The first evening the group will meet at the Gatefoot Gallery in Staveley, just up the road from the pub, where participants can relax and chat. There will be an optional camera surgery to take participants through the various controls on their cameras. Participants on the beginners course may, if they wish, also be introduced to the basics of photography.
